Logging has just commenced - unannounced - of a precious coupe which had been put on the deferral list as part of the Forest Industry Taskforce process.  The coupe is opposite the Rubicon Historic Area (illegally logged by VF) and gateway to the amazing Cerberean Plateau and the Rubicon Forest (now almost logged out).  An area of extreme landscape sensitivity next to the Royston River, just above Royston River Falls.  It includes very large '39 regrowth mountain ash, plus scattered habitat stags still present. Whole area could still be big tourist attraction.  We have pleaded to VF many times for this coupe to be spared.  Logging it is vandalism.
