Forest Policy in Flux (March 2019)

In early 2019 Victorian forest policy is in flux.  A range of separate but linked initiatives and processes are in train and established policies and regulatory frameworks are open for reform. The direction that such reform might take will depend, in part, on the continued drive of the forest conservation movement.

The linked map of forest policy: recent and current initiatives is designed to be read from left to right (chronologically) or from right to left (tracing the origins of the contemporary hot policy issues).  Interpreting the map is supported by the linked regulatory framework diagram (as of April 2019).
