The Rubicon Forest Protection Group provided a detailed briefing for Murrindindi Coucillors this week. Following Uncle Roy Patterson's welcome to country, local researcher Nick Legge provided an overview of the concerns of the RFPG.  During the subsequent discussions local farmer and ecologist, Ann Jelinek, underlined the concerns of the Group regarding the of proper flora and fauna surveys and local farmer and tourism operator, Ken Deacon, who is also the convenor of the RFPG, described the damage to local tourism as a consequence of wide scale logging in the area.
